剧情简介：
《疯子》讲述的故事发生在一个与现实世界相似的时代，
安妮·兰兹伯（艾玛·斯通饰）与欧文·米尔格里姆（乔纳·希尔饰）这两个陌生人因各自不同的原因，受一项神秘药物后期试验所吸引。安妮心怀不满，不知何去何从，但又放不下母亲与姐姐之间破碎的关系；欧文是纽约一位富有企业家的第五个儿子，被诊断有疑似精神分裂症，一直都活得很痛苦，两个人的人生都不顺利。詹姆斯·K·曼特勒雷（贾斯汀·塞洛克斯饰）博士发明了一系列药丸，推出极端的新型药物疗法，声称可以修复心智方面的各种疑难杂症，包括心理疾病和极度伤心。这吸引了这两人和其他十位陌生人加入 Neberdine 制药生物科技（Neberdine Pharmaceutical and Biotech），参加为期三天的药物试验。这项试验承诺受试者不会出现并发症或任何副作用，并可以根除他们的所有问题。
